Charge a booking fee and keep it for yourself.

Stubmatic.com doesn’t charge booking or transaction fees, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. We have rolled out a new feature that allows you to charge your customers a booking fee.

Booking fees are automatically added to your customer’s order and you get to keep 100% of that charged fee. This great new feature helps you cover costs such as the fees charged by PayPal and our subscription fee.

To start charging a booking fee, simply add a new or edit an existing event. Within the ticket details section you will see two new fields (See above). Simply specify a Booking fee value greater than 0 and the fee will automatically be added. You also have the option to charge the fee per ticket or order. Select “charge fee per ticket” if you want to charge per ticket, rather than per order.

As usual we welcome your comments and suggestions.

UPDATE: WYSIWYG Event Details & Listing Order

We have just rolled out some much requested features, such as the ability to customise your event details pages using our Rich Text editor allowing the addition of photos/images.

We have also reversed the listing of the events on your My Events page and also your My Sales page to match the order shown on your box office. Oldest events first..

If you have any comments, requests etc, please do not hesitate to contact us.

UPDATE (11/08/08 21:00)

We have added a facility to filter out older completed events, that completed more than 7 days ago. We had feedback from several users who found that with the new ordering,  they had to scroll through several pages of events to find current events that had just completed. By default older events are now not shown on the My Events and My Sales pages. We have added an option above the data grid (see below) that when selected lists all events.

Include older completed events option

New Tkt It.com site released

This morning we rolled out the latest update of Tkt It.com along with a shiny new design we now offer better payment / order tracking, timezone support, customisable box office and many bug fixes.

In addition, as stated previously, we have now enabled advertising on all our free (standard) accounts. These adverts are provided by our advertising partner ValueClick Media who are commited to providing relevant and high quality advertising from reputable partners.

However, we have also decided to increase the limits set on our free (standard) user acconts. From today, the number of tickets that can be sold for any event rises from 200 tickets to 500 tickets.

As we have added the feature to customise your box office page, we encourage users to review and edit this page to ensure it looks as they would like. You can view your box office by visiting http://www.tktit.com/myboxoffice/<username> i.e. http://www.tktit.com/myboxoffice/miletbaker and you can edit your box office page at: http://www.tktit.com/user/edit_profile

Also please ensure you set your timezone in your accounts page (http://www.tktit.com/user/edit).

We hope you enjoy using the new site. If you have any queries, comments or issues please contact us via our contact page at http://blog.tktit.com/contact.

Scheduled Maintenance Tuesday 5th August 2008

On Tuesday 5th August 2008 at 6am we will be releasing a major upgrade to the Tkt It platfrom.

Along with a complete visual redesign we have made several fixes and improvements to the service including:

Customizable Box Office: We have now given you more control over how your box office looks allowing you to use our Rich Text Editor to customize text and link to external images.

Order Process: Fixes to the order process where by orders that were partially completed but not paid for within a certain time failed. As part of this fix, tickets are no longer allocated when a purchaser puts the tickets in their basket but when they pay.

Paypal Transaction tracking: The sales details for an order now shows a log of the payment history related to that order.

Timezone support: Events now complete at the correct local time to the user. Exisiting users please note: by default users are set to the UTC timezone, after the upgrade please go to your account and set your timezone. You will also need to edit any events created prior to the timezone change to the correct date time (as these would have been created in UTC time).

As part of the release we are also making hardware infrastructure changes.

We plan to ensure minimal downtime and anticipate full service to be restored by 9am GMT

We appologise for any inconvinience caused. If you have any queries or concerns, please contact support using our contact form.

Regards,

Tkt It Team
